This improved version builds on the success of the original with significant upgrades while retaining all the features you’ve come to rely on.
 
The ThrottleBuddy V2 now includes:
 
Flexible Link: A new flexible link helps prevent potential failure caused by accidental snags or impacts from items like fishing rods, enhancing durability (see video, towards the end, for this upgrade)
Extended Throttle Range: The throttle range has been increased to allow up to 90% throttle movement, giving you greater versatility and control.

Upgrade Options for Existing Customers:
If you currently own the previous version of the ThrottleBuddy, you can upgrade your existing unit with the following options:
Spare Parts - Flexible Link (Option 1): Upgrade your existing ThrottleBuddy with the new flexible link. This upgrade includes the flexible link and adjuster assembly (refer to pictures).
Spare Parts - Flexible Link and Arm (Option 2): Upgrade your existing ThrottleBuddy with the new flexible link and the upgraded arm, which increases throttle control to 90%. This upgrade includes the flexible link, the adjuster assembly, and the new arm (refer to pictures).
 
The ExplorerPro ThrottleBuddy will also fit other models with the same handlebar configuration, like the GTR and the RXP-X.
 
The FishPro ThrottleBuddy will also fit other models with the same handlebar configuration, like the GTX and the RXT-X.
 
Please note that the FishPro handlebar have changed on the 2026 models and it now uses the same ThrottleBuddy as the ExplorerPro.
