If you currently own the previous version of the ThrottleBuddy, you can upgrade your existing unit with the following options:
Spare Parts - Flexible Link (Option 1): Upgrade your existing ThrottleBuddy with the new flexible link. This upgrade includes the flexible link and adjuster assembly (refer to pictures).
Spare Parts - Flexible Link and Arm (Option 2): Upgrade your existing ThrottleBuddy with the new flexible link and the upgraded arm, which increases throttle control to 90%. This upgrade includes the flexible link, the adjuster assembly, and the new arm (refer to pictures).
The ExplorerPro ThrottleBuddy will also fit other models with the same handlebar configuration, like the GTR and the RXP-X.

Please note that the FishPro and Explorer handlebars have changed on the 2026 and we are yet to confirm fitment on these models.

The throttlebuddy is great! I've used it for the last three months trolling off Virginia Beach for about 15 trips so far. It fills in the gap after the SeaDoo cruise control setting of 9 and allows for small speed adjustments as needed and quick deployment or disengaging. Great idea, well constructed, easy to install, and worth the money.
The throttle buddy for my JetSki is absolutely brilliant. I have been able to focus more on where my trolling lines are without needing to hold the throttle at a set speed. Huge difference. Excellent service - unit was in the post within hours of me paying and it arrived a few days later.
The fishpro trolling settings are useless offshore in the florida Atlantic currents. The throttle buddy is a game changer, its well made, well thought out and much safer than othrr things i was trying
I had tried other solutions that were not nearly as effective and reliable. The throttle buddy is easily the best solution I have used for trolling and also cruising at medium speeds.
Fantastic bit of kit! I use it more for launching and retrieving the ski at the boat ramp.
